Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Pink Showers' is a compact, strongly twining, evergreen climber with glossy, wavy, dark green leaves, bronze in autumn, great-looking all year round. Beautiful, fragrant, star-shaped, soft pink flowers with yellow centres bloom from late spring to early summer, sometimes early autumn. It’s a lovely, new colour variant of star jasmine. The pink colour is more intensive in cooler climates. Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Pink Showers' prefers fertile, loamy, well-drained soils, and thrives in a south-facing positions in full sun. It can tolerate partial shade. It is resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh, winter winds. Tolerant of hot climates. It should be provided a strong support. It requires some pruning after flowering. Pink Chinese Jasmin is an excellent flowering vine with attractive evergreen foliage. It can be planted in pots and containers. Perfect for covering unsightly areas. Great for warm sunny wall-side boarders, pergolas, trellises, and fences.
