Picea glauca 'Pendula' is a graceful and elegant evergreen tree that belongs to the Pinaceae family. Commonly known as Weeping White Spruce, it is native to North America, specifically to Canada and the United States. This beautiful tree typically grows to a height of 10 to 15 feet with a spread of 5 to 10 feet, but can grow up to 30 feet under ideal growing conditions. It has a narrow, conical shape with drooping branches that form a weeping habit, giving it a unique and picturesque appearance. The branches are covered in blue-green needles that are arranged spirally around the twigs. The Weeping White Spruce is a slow-growing tree that prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is a hardy tree that can tolerate cold winters and is resistant to most diseases and pests. It is an ideal tree for small gardens, rockeries, and as a specimen plant in parks and open spaces.
