Malus Domestica 'Elstar' is a cross between Golden Delicious and Ingrid Marie. It’s a vigorous, deciduous tree with oval, dark green leaves and fragrant, pale pink flowers blooming in spring. It produces heavy and regular crops of greenish-yellow, red flushed, apples with moderately juicy and crispy flesh and excellent, intense, sweet flavour. Ready for harvesting in September, but perfect to harvesting in October and can be stored until February. Malus Domestica 'Elstar' grows best in fertile, humus-rich, deep, moist, well-drained soils. It thrives in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. It is very resistant to frost and can withstand wind. Pruning and fruit thinning are required. Pollination group 3. It is partially self-fertile and needs the presence of other apple varieties blooming at the same time for better crops. Apple 'Elstar' is a great-looking apple tree with excellent, early-ripening apples of intense flavour. Great for eating fresh or used for culinary purposes.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
