Lonicera henryi, commonly known as Henry's honeysuckle, is an evergreen climber that belongs to the honeysuckle family (Caprifoliaceae). Originating from the forested regions of China, this plant showcases a vigorous growth habit, making it a popular choice for gardeners who wish to cover trellises, fences, or walls.
Its dark green, lance-shaped leaves provide a dense, year-round foliage backdrop. The leaves are paired opposite each other, giving a layered appearance. As a testament to its beauty, in the spring and early summer, Lonicera henryi produces tubular flowers. These blooms, which are often yellow with hints of orange, are not only visually attractive but also emit a subtle fragrance, attracting a variety of pollinators.
Unlike some other honeysuckle species, Henry's honeysuckle is not known for a strong, perfumed scent, but its visual appeal compensates for it. The blooms later give way to small, black berries, which, while not suitable for human consumption, offer a food source to birds.
For optimal growth, Lonicera henryi prefers well-drained soil and a position in full sun to partial shade. Its robust growth and low maintenance requirements, combined with its ornamental attributes, make it a favorite among horticulturists and landscape designers.

About Us
During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.
What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
