Juniperus conferta 'Blue Pacific' is a low-growing, spreading, mat-forming, coniferous, evergreen shrub with soft and flexible branches, aromatic, grey-green, prickly, needle-like leaves with blue and silver overtones, and attractive black, berry-like cones with a silver bloom. Juniperus conferta 'Blue Pacific' can adapt to a wide range of soils, including poor, but grows best in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. It prefers sandy, dry soils, in full sun to partial shade. It is tolerant of heat, drought and salt, therefore, suitable for coastal conditions. Resistant to frost and intolerant of too wet soil because it may cause a root rot. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Shore Juniper 'Blue Pacific' is a wonderful shrub, perfect as a specimen or accent plant, superb as a ground cover. Excellent for banks and slopes for erosion control. Great as a foundation plant or cascading over the walls. Suitable for cottage, coastal, urban, and rock and gravel gardens.

Arundel Arboretum is a shrub and tree retail nursery with over 40 years of experience.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
