Clematis Ninon, a part of Boulevard series, is a compact, deciduous climber with bright green foliage and beautiful, wavy-edged, creamy white flowers with mauve tipped stamens. It blooms for a very long period of time – from late spring to autumn. Clematis Ninon prefers rich, neutral, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Its roots should be kept cool, shaded by other plants. It doesn’t tolerate cold, dry winds. Low maintenance, it requires very little pruning. Its blossom attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but the plant is toxic to animals. Clematis Ninon is an attractive long-blooming climber with lovely white flowers. Great for adding vertical colour to a garden. It needs a support for climbing – trellis, fence or a rock wall. It can serve as a low privacy screen or as a covering for bare legs of rose shrubs. Perfect for growing in pots and containers.
