Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Pelt's Blue' is a small, evergreen, coniferous tree of narrowly conical habit with sprays of feathery, scale-like, leaves, blue-grey when young, dark-blue green when mature, and small, globose cones. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Pelt's Blue' can grow well in a wide range of soils, but prefers fertile, humus-rich, slightly acidic, loamy or sandy, moist, but well-drained soils. It hates waterlogged areas and requires good drainage. It thrives in full sun, but tolerates partial shade. It is very resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh winter winds. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning, but can be shaped and sheared. Lawson's cypress 'Pelt's Blue', with its intense blue-green foliage and columnar habit, is a wonderful ornamental tree. It is perfect as a specimen plant or planted in groups in informal, cottage, rock and gravel, and urban gardens. Great for flower beds, shrub and mixed borders, and hedges and screens. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
