Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ivonne' is medium-sized, evergreen, coniferous tree of conical habit, dense branching, and flat, soft, fragrant, feathery sprays of yellow-green foliage, rich-golden in low temperatures. Small, inconspicuous flowers bloom in spring. White, male flowers turn red and blue, female flowers turn green and are followed by brown cones in summer. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ivonne' can adapt to a wide range of soils, but prefers humus-rich, slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soils. It hates waterlogged areas. It thrives in full sun, but can withstand light shade. It is very resistant to frost and somewhat to exposed positions. Tolerant of wind and air pollution. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. It keeps its perfect shape without pruning. Lawson's cypress 'Ivonne' is a beautiful, tough, ornamental tree, perfect for dense, fragrant, hedges and privacy screens. Excellent for creating topiaries and suitable for growing in containers on patios or roof gardens. Great for cottage, urban, coastal, and rock gardens.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
