Caryopteris – clandonensis 'Kew Blue' loves full sun. It can grow in any type of soil as long as it is well-drained, but prefers moderately fertile, light, medium moisture soil. It is very easy to grow and low maintenance. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Very attractive to bees and butterflies. Resistant to drought and frost but should be protected from harsh winds. In colder areas, best to be planted near a sheltered wall. Caryopteris - clandonensis (Bluebeard) 'Kew Blue' is an excellent addition to any sunny garden.
