Amelanchier can. October Flame is a compact, conical, ornamental deciduous shrub or small tree with an upright growth habit. As it ages, it becomes broader and forms a spreading crown. Its oval healthy green leaves turn bright orange and deep red in autumn. Clusters of elegant white star-shaped flowers appear in April, and are followed by small, edible purple-black berry-like fruits, mostly eaten by birds. Amelanchier can. October Flame is not very demanding when it comes to its place in the garden. It prefers full sun and partial shade, and moist, peaty, but well drained, acid to neutral soils. For a rich autumn foliage, it should be planted in full sun. This attractive low-maintenance tree is perfect for small urban and cottage gardens, great as a specimen tree, attractive as a shrub, suitable for hedges and growing in large containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
