Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum' - Standard is a vigorous, fast-growing, large, dense, semi-evergreen shrub of upright habit with ovate, glossy, rich-green leaves with irregular, golden-yellow margins. Dense clusters of small, fragrant, creamy-white flowers bloom in June and July and are followed by glossy, black-blue berries in autumn, attractive to birds. Golden Privet - Standard grows well in any type of soil, as long as it is well-drained, but it prefers fertile, moist, but well-drained soils, in full sun or partial shade. It’s a tough, fast-growing plant that can withstand heat and frost. In very hard winters, it may lose some leaves. It is tolerant of urban pollution and very suitable for urban gardens. Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum' - Standard, with its beautiful, variegated, golden-yellow leaves, brings brightness to shady areas of the garden or to winter landscapes of informal, cottage, coastal and urban gardens. As it reacts very well to clipping, perfect for formal hedges and screens. Suitable for growing in pots and containers.
