Its foliage is rich, dense, vibrant, fresh-green to deep-green, looking beautiful all year round. Non flowering variety. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Erecta Viridis thrives in average, slightly acidic or neutral soil. It can tolerate almost any type of soil, as long as it is moist and well-drained. It grows best in full sun, in a sheltered position. Very resilient. It can withstand occasional drought, cold, heat and air pollution. Foliage may cause skin irritation. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Erecta Viridis is a majestic, architectural tree, one of the most attractive of the Lawson’s Cypress cultivars. It looks great as a specimen plant or planted in groups. It can be used for screens and hedging. Perfect for urban gardens and parks since it is tolerant to urban conditions.
