Ligustrum jonandrum 3-Ball Pom Pom Topiary is a multi-ball topiary form of Ligustrum jonandrum. It has three formally clipped, compact, rounded, lollipop-shaped balls or pom-poms similar to Buxus. Privet balls are densely branched with small, glossy, evergreen, dark green leaves. If unclipped, creamy white flowers emerge in summer and are followed by black berries in autumn. Privet Pom Pom topiary can grow in a wide range of soils, but thrives in fertile, moist, well-drained soils, in full sun or light shade. Once established, it is resistant to drought and frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh winds. Generally, disease-free. It needs to be trimmed twice a year to maintain its shape. Ligustrum 3-Ball Pom Pom topiary is easily maintained with simple trimming. It is not difficult to clip and can be clipped any time during warmer months. Very decorative and attractive, it brings beauty, shape and structure to formal and Italian-style gardens. Great for growing in containers.
