Abelia Tricolor Charm is a small, compact, long-flowering, semi-evergreen shrub with glossy, oval, bright green leaves with irregular, creamy to pink margins, and abundance of lovely, fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white flowers blooming from mid-summer till the first frosts. Attractive to butterflies and bees. Abelia Tricolor Charm prefers average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun, but is adaptable to other soil types. Best flowering occurs in full sun. It is resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from cold, drying winds. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require much pruning. Very easy to grow. Abelia Tricolor Charm is a wonderful ornamental shrub with attractive tricolour foliage and lovely flowers blooming until first frosts. It is perfect as a specimen plant or planted in groups in small informal, cottage, urban, and wildlife gardens. Excellent for shrub borders, wall-side borders, low hedges and screens. Suitable for growing in pots and containers.
