Pittosporum variegatum is an upright, rounded, evergreen shrub or small tree with black stems and oval, luminous, wavy-edged, grey-green leaves with narrow, irregular, creamy-white margins. Clusters of tiny, fragrant, dark purple flowers bloom in spring and summer. Pittosporum variegatum is easily grown in fertile, moist, well-drained soils, in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. It can adapt to various types of soil, as long as they are well-drained. It thrives in mild climates, in sunny, sheltered positions. It is tolerant of sea salt, therefore, perfect for coastal areas. In colder climates, it should be protected from harsh, drying winds. Low maintenance plant. Generally, disease-free. Tolerant of hard pruning. Pittosporum variegatum is great as a specimen plant, or planted in groups, in cottage, urban, or coastal gardens. Perfect for hedges and screens, as a windbreak or hiding hedge. Useful for mixed and shrub borders. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
