Physocarpus ‘Little Angel’ is a small, compact, bushy, suckering, upright, evergreen shrub with exfoliating bark when mature, and ovate, three-lobed, fiery orange and warm red leaves, resembling flames, that turn darker red in autumn. Clusters of small, cup-shaped, creamy-white flowers open from red buds and bloom in summer. They are followed by red berries that turn black in autumn. Ninebark ‘Little Angel’ is very easy to grow. It can adapt to a wide range of soils, but prefers fertile, hummus-rich, slightly acidic, moist and well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. If grown in chalky soil, susceptible to chlorosis. Very resistant to frost. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Physocarpus ‘Little Angel’, the smallest selection of Ninebark, is a lovely, colourful shrub, perfect for small informal, cottage, and urban gardens. Great for mass planting, shrub borders or mix borders. Excellent for growing in pots and containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
