Larix kaempferi 'Stiff Weeper' is a small, compact, narrow, coniferous, deciduous tree of weeping habit, with grey bark, pendent branches, and delicate, bright green, needle-like leaves, with silvery blue shade, turning golden yellow in autumn before falling off in winter. It produces brown, conical cones. Larix kaempferi 'Stiff Weeper' thrive in deep, fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. It prefers full sun and requires a lot of space. Once established, resistant to drought. Grows best in climates with cool summers and cold winters. Very resistant to frost and low temperatures. It hates waterlogged soils and can’t withstand full shade and urban pollution. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Japanese Larch 'Stiff Weeper' is an attractive, graceful and architectural weeping larch suitable for smaller informal and cottage gardens. Great as a specimen plant or for beds and borders. Suitable for growing in containers. Great-looking when planted near a pond or a stream.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
