Alchemilla mollis, or Lady’s Mantle, is a small, very charming, old-fashioned, modest and unpretentious herbaceous perennial. It has scallop-shaped, toothed, apple green leaves and sprays of yellow to lime green flowers. Dense hairs on the leaves catch water and look beautiful after the rain or early in the morning. It is very tough and adaptable, grows well in most conditions. It prefers full sun and partial shade, medium moisture, well-drained soil, but it can easily grow in full shade and damp areas. Resilient, pest-free and disease-free. Alchemilla mollis has a humble appearance but because of its ability to adapt, it is very useful around the garden. It is great as a ground cover, perfect for shady places beneath other plants, good looking at banks and slopes, garden borders and path edgings. Its flowers can be used in fresh and dried arrangements. The only problem could be its self-seeding which can become a bit invasive.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
