The wisterias mentioned in my previous blog have been selling so well. The best selling tree at the moment is Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’ evergreen standards – ideal for screenage. We had some of the best stock ever in on the last load from Italy, so much so that I have ordered another lorry load which should be with us next week – mainly Photinias again. Evergreen screenage is always very popular. Evergreens at this time of year are just coming into their best. Laurel hedging – being evergreen has also been a popular choice for a screenage hedge. We have just started to water on a regular basis, as the days are getting warmer.
